Matthew 22:35-40

35 And one of them, a scholar of the Law, asked Him a question, testing Him, 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the great and foremost commandment. 39 And the second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang the whole Law and the Prophets.”

Dearest Friend,

I pray you will work for the Lord in His harvest.

Harvest - to gain, win, or use

To know God is to love Him and to love Him is to serve Him.

Love - active, self-giving concern for the well-being of others

This ministry is aimed at all sinners alike, saved and unsaved, lost and found, new and old, seasoned and unseasoned. I decided to make God my business, thus the business card bearing the message and while I hope that curiosity was your reaction, I pray God moves your heart to endeavor.

Endeavor – to attempt something such as the fulfillment of an obligation by exertion of effort

Serving through this ministry is simple. Let God be your business. Place a card:

Business - purposeful activity; personal concern; an immediate task or objective: Mission
- In someone’s hand
- In a payment holder when paying
- In any place of activity anywhere within
- In a gift bag or present
- In a holiday card or celebration card
- Anyplace anywhere you want to love someone, the only boundaries are the ones we create

Don't speculate the placement of the message to the point the act of placing it does not occur. Trust in God and His design.

Trust - the obligation or responsibility imposed on a person in whom confidence or authority is placed

True autonomy is not ours. In Christ we are given cause to act, leading us to serve God’s will. If I am in Christ and Christ in me, then my ministry is His, and His mine; Therefore, all fruit is born of God. If my ministry is for my person, then it is futile.

Autonomy - freedom from external control or influence; independence

God is sovereign. He alone renders what is worthy. The outcome is His. Take the action, share the message, if not in person, then serving in some manner to The Great Commission. We are all called to love God and love one another; And thereby we must act.

Sovereign - being above all others in character, importance, excellence: unlimited in extent: ABSOLUTE

Be purposeful in action, whether it be passive or aggressive, not placing limits on the limitless power of God. We do our part by obeying and acting, God does it all, even our part is empowered by Him.

God - The Powerful Ruler. specifically: the one controlling a particular aspect or part of reality

In Closing… Dearest Friend,
Act.

Act - behave in the way specified

If you would like to serve through this ministry, I will be happy to send you cards, just email me your mailing information. There is no catch or ulterior motive, the cards are free, and I will cover the postage too. The hope is to provide you with a way "in" to other's paths too. I thank all who decide to become card carriers.

I am a person much like you with a job and obligations and I also seek to serve our Lord; And like you I live on a budget. If you are able and willing, I would gratefully accept a donation to just cover the costs, however, either way I will make it work whether you contribute, or I cover it. Please don't feel bad and especially don't let it cause you to not ask for cards. The message is the most important thing, and I trust the Lord to never lead me where he won't provide. I purchase the cards by a few thousand at a time for volume discounts and it helps. Currently my cost is approximately $7 per 100 cards. The cards with postage average $10 -$12 per 100 shipped. I use a small plastic card container to store them in my vehicle (holds 75) and a pocket size plastic card holder (holds 10) that protects them in a pocket or purse. These holders make it convenient for me to refill my pocket card holder at my vehicle and keep them on my person always ready to pass one along. The cost for both card holders is about $3. If you would like to make a donation to cover these costs, then let me know in your email.

Again, if you would like to serve through this ministry, please let me know, I am sincerely glad to send you cards for free if your finances have no room left to cover the costs.
Matthew 9:35-38
35 And Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.36 And seeing the crowds, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and downcast like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38 Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”
John 13:34-35
34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Isaiah 6:8
8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying,
“Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?”
Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
Isaiah 52:7
7 How lovely on the mountains
Are the feet of him who proclaims good news,
Who announces peace
And proclaims good news of good things,
Who announces salvation,
And says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.
John 15:4-5
4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit from itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
Matthew 13:3-9
3 And He spoke many things to them in parables, saying, “Behold, the sower went out to sow; 4 and as he sowed, some seeds fell beside the road, and the birds came and ate them up. 5 And others fell on the rocky places, where they did not have much soil; and immediately they sprang up, because they had no depth of soil. 6 But when the sun had risen, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. 7 And others fell among the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked them out. 8 And others fell on the good soil and were yielding a crop, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty. 9 He who has ears, let him hear.”
1 Corinthians 3:7-9
7 So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.
Isaiah 55:10-11
10 For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven,
And do not return there without watering the earth
And making it bear and sprout,
And giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
11 So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth;
It will not return to Me empty,
Without accomplishing what pleases Me,
And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
